SAGE Eldercare will offer two presentations by a pharmacist on the potential benefits and risks of nutritional supplements, and on medication safety and polypharmacy, which refers to the effects of taking multiple medications to manage a variety of health problems.

The free presentations will be led by Walgreens Pharmacist Prapti Bhatt at SAGE, 290 Broad Street, Summit.  The “Vitamins, Supplements, and Herbal Products” presentation will be held Thursday, October 13, 1-2 pm. The “Medication Safety and Polypharmacy” presentation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 1-2 pm.
