SAGE Meals on Wheels is the first of its kind in New Jersey. Our meals are planned by a registered dietician. Volunteers make deliveries Monday – Friday between 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. However, our team of 600 volunteers deliver much more than a meal. They provide a warm smile, a friendly visit, and a watchful eye. Individuals who are 60 and older, frail, homebound, or disabled, are eligible for the program. Eligibility includes those individuals recuperating from an illness, those who are mentally or physically impaired, individuals without family or friends to shop for them, and someone requiring a special diet.
There are no income requirements to receive Meals on Wheels.
We deliver meals to:
Union, Essex, and Morris counties. Currently, these towns are receiving Meals on Wheels:

If we do not provide service in your town, please give us a call and we will help you find an affiliate.
- We can accommodate diabetics as our meals are low in fat and sodium.
