Betty Haig 103rd birthday at SAGE Eldercare

Today, SAGE Eldercare and many others say goodbye to Elizabeth “Betty” Haig in a memorial celebration at Central Presbyterian Church in Summit at 11:30 am.

In many ways, the 103-year-old, who died peacefully on June 10, was the face of SAGE. Her photo, in fact, was taken many times over the 12 years she participated in SAGE’s programs and services and visited with volunteers.

“Mrs. Haig lived her later years engaged in life and she did so with grace. She exemplified the SAGE mission of helping older adults age in their own home and community. We at SAGE were so fortunate to know her through those years. She was a part of our family and an inspiration to us all,” said Angela Sullivan, SAGE Executive Director.
