SAGE Resale Shop in Summit, located at 31B Chatham Road in Summit, is looking for donations of items that someone else may be interested in giving as a holiday gift this year.

If you have unwanted merchandise that you cannot use, preferably gently used or brand new with a tag still attached, please consider donating it to the store. Items for holiday giving should be brought in as soon as possible. The Resale Shop is participating in Small Business Saturday on November 28 and would like to provide an opportunity for everyone to get an early start on their holiday shopping needs, especially those who have a restricted budget.

“We are hoping that ‘Small Business Saturday’ will give us an opportunity to help shoppers find some reasonably-priced gifts for the special people on their holiday gift list,” stated Rose Rittweger, Manager of SAGE’s Resale Shop. “Our regular Resale Shop customers come to the store to find bargains year-round and this is a way for us to promote that we are a small, local business open to the public which also happens to support older adults in the local region who use SAGE Eldercare’s services.”

Since 1959, the SAGE Resale Shop has helped provide funds for SAGE Eldercare’s programs and services. The store offers an unusual variety and exceptional quality of goods, along with reasonable prices, which attracts shoppers and collectors in the area. The store regularly sells furniture, housewares, lamps, china, linens, jewelry, clothing, bric-a-brac, collectibles, books, and more! Regular visits to the shop ensure the opportunity to find and purchase ever-changing merchandise and special treasures.

Whether you’re looking for a good home for your gently-used goods or a bargain, come by SAGE’s Resale Shop, located at 31B Chatham Road in Summit. The store is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. For more information regarding the store, please call 908.273.5564 or visit www.sageeldercare.org/help-sage/giving/resale-store.
