Home Repair Service

SAGE Eldercare’s Home Repair Service helps older adults with small home repairs so that they can continue to live safely in their own homes. Using a safety checklist, our staff can identify problem areas and offer solutions. Seniors can also call to request a specific service. The Home Repair Service is unable to handle emergencies or large jobs that require a licensed technician, but we are happy to provide referrals.

Services include:

• Installation/battery replacement for smoke detectors
• Removing or installing window air conditioners
• Installing home safety features such as grab bars, wheelchair ramps, and railings on interior and/or exterior stairs
• Repairing or replacing broken steps and damaged flooring

Seniors age 60+ residing in Union, Morris or Essex counties are eligible.

Nominal fees are charged.
